Who we are and what this covers

Gugames is a website where you play free browser games and share short gameplay videos and Plays made with the Gugames Recorder extension. These terms apply to the site, the extension, the developer area and the game SDK. By using any of them you accept these terms, together with the other sections of these rules.

Your account

• You may play without an account. Publishing videos, commenting and submitting games need one.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for online services in your country if that is higher. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us quickly if someone else got in.
• One person, one account for publishing. Accounts made to dodge a ban are removed.

What you may do

• Play the games for personal, non-commercial fun.
• Record your own gameplay with the extension and publish it on Gugames under the video rules.
• Share links to Gugames pages anywhere.

What you may not do

• Copy, re-host or frame our games or videos on other sites without permission from the rights holder.
• Scrape the site, inflate views or likes, or automate accounts.
• Probe, overload or break the site, the games or other players' devices.
• Use the extension to record pages other than Gugames games for publication here.

Content you publish

You keep ownership of your videos, titles and descriptions. By publishing you give Gugames a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transcode, display, promote and let others watch your content on Gugames and in Gugames promotion, for as long as it stays published plus a reasonable period to remove copies. You confirm that you have the right to publish it. Games shown in your videos belong to their developers; publishing gameplay on Gugames is allowed for games hosted on Gugames.

Games from developers

Developers keep all rights to their games. A separate publishing agreement, accepted when a game is submitted, covers the licence they grant us and the revenue share.

Paid features

Premium (ad-free play and other perks) costs $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year, plus any sales tax or VAT shown at checkout. Coin packs are one-off purchases at the price shown in the shop.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Premium is billed in advance and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on the Premium page or through the link in your Paddle receipt. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period stays active until it ends.

Refunds. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a purchase or renewal, without giving a reason: reply to your Paddle receipt or use paddle.net. Coins you have already spent are not refunded. After 14 days a refund is at our discretion, except where the law of your country gives you more rights.

Ending and changes

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts and content that break these rules. We may change these terms; for material changes we give at least 14 days' notice on the site before they apply.

Liability

The site and the games are provided as they are. We work to keep them safe and available but cannot promise they are error-free. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
